Setting Up Your Wholesale Discount Account

Offering exclusive pricing to your wholesale buyers is one of the most powerful ways to grow B2B revenue. With Discountify, you can approve wholesale customers and automatically apply personalized discounts at checkout — no coupon codes needed.

The Request as a Wholesaler button will now appear on your storefront for customers to click.

Step 2: Customer Submits a Wholesale Request

When a customer clicks the button on your storefront:

A registration form appears on screen
They fill in: First Name, Last Name, Company, Phone, Tax ID, Website, and a short business description
They click Apply for an Account to submit

The request appears instantly in your Discountify dashboard. No email or manual follow-up needed.

Step 3: Review and Approve the Request

Go to Discountify → Bulk Discount → Wholesaler Requests
Click Approve

Once approved, Discountify automatically:

Tags the customer as Wholesaler in Shopify
Saves their discount percentage as a customer metafield
Activates their pricing at checkout immediately

No manual Shopify admin work is required.

Step 4: How It Works at Checkout

The approved customer does not need a coupon code. When they log in and shop:

Discountify reads their Wholesaler tag automatically

Go to Discountify → Bulk Discount → Wholesaler Requests
Click Add Discount to assign a discount percentage to a pending wholesaler
Applies the discount on all eligible products at checkout

The experience is seamless. Their price is simply lower every time they shop.

Step 5: Update or Reject a Wholesaler at Any Time

From the Wholesaler Requests table you can:

Click Update Discount to change their discount percentage at any time
Click Reject to remove their wholesale status immediately
